Power Paws have many uses… from helping older dogs (and younger ones too!) with traction on slippery surfaces, to paw protection, hardwood floor protection, and fashion. We even have applications for outdoor use – protecting your dog’s paws from very hot surfaces and very cold (snow/ice) surfaces.
Power Paws – in 8 sizes – fit virtually all dogs. Be sure to print our Paw Print Size guide and use our breed size and weight guide below to help ensure your dog gets the best size for him! *Note: If the size is not right, we will exchange it. The size and weight chart below will help you choose the proper size. Please also try our printable paw sizing guide – just print and place your dog’s paw on the page to see what size you need. Be sure to print at 100% for accuracy.
Size/Weight/Breed guide based on averages. Example, a 45# Basset Hound wears an XL, not M as weight suggest. Power Paws look small, but do stretch a lot, and a loose fit will slide around the foot and not provide traction!
Special Notice: Greyhound breeds and poodles have physically different feet. We can work with you now to find a size that may work, but in the future, we will offer a size made just for their feet – please contact us if your dog is a Greyhound breed or a poodle.
Power Paws may appear too small at first. They are designed to stretch. If the size is right, Power Paws will stay on when playing, climbing stairs, walking, etc. A proper fit is a snug, stretched sock allowing the elastic to hold the sock in place. If the sock is too small, you will not be able to get it on. If the sock is too large, it will turn (so the grip ends up somewhere other than the bottom of the sock), or it may fall off completely.
